A Note from Our Founder, Brian Duryea

For over ten years, I've had the privilege of being an educator. In that time, one of the greatest challenges and greatest joys has been connecting with English Language Learners. I saw brilliant students who understood the concepts but struggled to keep up because of the language barrier. I saw the frustration of wanting to give every student the attention they deserve, but being limited by the constraints of a multilingual classroom.

I was always searching for a better way—a tool that could bridge the language gap without creating a disconnect. How could we provide immediate, accurate support without losing the most critical element of teaching: the personal connection between a teacher and a student?

This project is the culmination of that search. By combining cutting-edge AI with a simple, accessible interface, we can now offer every student the chance to hear their lesson, in their language, directly in their teacher's own voice. It's the tool I always wished I had, and I'm thrilled to share it with fellow educators who are dedicated to making their classrooms more inclusive and effective for everyone.
